En is quiet and reserved, but won't fail to point out something if he deems you wrong.

Because he's always with Jun, who's a naturally outgoing person, always surrounded by people, he becomes quiet and ends up looking like Jun's "follower" and an introvert. He's also very self-conscious.

However, when alone with Jun, they chat alot, discussing their feelings and joking around. But put him in a crowd and he gets all silent, prefering to stay in the background and letting Jun do all the talking.

He used to feel left out, but after awhile it didn't seem to matter anymore that he's always just in the background. He has learnt to enjoy his individuality, and his bond with Jun is so strong, he knows that although he doesn't have many friends, Jun will always be there for him, and that suffices him.

En prefers not to talk about his past, because he doesn't want to recall it at all.

En was put into an orphanage when he was 5, and he can't say he was fond of the place. He excelled in his studies and that made him the termed "nerd" of the school. His fellow orphan-mates thought he was a smart-aleck, and the teacher's pet.

The only thing that kept him going was his strong friendship with Jun, who meant the world to him. Jun had stood up to protect him when he was being scoffed by the other orphans, and since then they had become the best of friends.

En came from a rich family, and led a great life.. well, as great as a 'material family' could get. He got the all the things he wanted: toys, that new bicycle... but his parents were barely ever there. They were forever busy with their business.. the only meaning of love to En at that time was the money his parents gave him.

However, the wealth was short-lived. His parents' business failed. They became bankrupt and were forced onto the streets. To save themselves a burden, they gave En up to an orphange.

It didn't matter to En that his parents didn't want him anymore. He never really knew them anyway, and felt no attachment whatsoever. But that didn't stop him from hating his new "poor" and "lowered" life. He despised everyone and wished he had never been born.

It was only when he got to know Jun that his life turned out for the better. They came inseperable. En learnt to love himself, and he started to accept his new life, and looked forward with new-found optimism.

En is secretly interested in Kae... secretly because Jun is always bickering with Kae over Hei. Being highly self-conscious, En is attracted to how Kae can just dump all his responsibilities aside and live so carefreely, without a care in the world.
