Ne is extremely quiet, but not actually an introvert by nature. She just doesn't care to comment on things, and would rather not give an opinion where there may be people who think otherwise. Most of all, she doesn't really 'have anything to say' in most situations, which is why she's so quiet.

Because she's so quiet, it's hard to put a finger on what she's really thinking inside, and that sometimes becomes unsettling.....

She also has a talent for pretending not to take hints, especially in the matters of the heart, mainly because she doesn't want to face what may be coming. She doesn't want to hurt you, so she'd rather just pretend she doesn't know you like her.

Despite her cold exterior, Ne is actually very "elder-sisterly". She has a natural instinct to be caring towards those younger than her -- even if she doesn't say much while she's at it.

Ne led a good life at her orphanage... until she was seperated from her lover, a childhood fellow orphan. He was the only one she'd let take care of her (because her natural instinct is to take care of others, it's barely ever the other way round). They were a perfect couple. He complimented her nature, and hers to his.

Little is known as to how they became seperated. He was either adopted secretly by someone or ran away from the orphanage, no one knew. He was treated as 'dead' by the others after his disappearance. Either way, Ne hasn't forgotten him since.. she loves only him, and hasn't let anyone into her heart, forever clinging onto a tiny hope that he's still alive somewhere out there, and would come to claim her back one day.

In fact... she occasionally recieves unaddressed letters or gifts from an annoymous person who's writing style is weirdly similar to that of her ex-lover....

Ne doesn't open her heart to anyone, but that doesn't deter Yuu from his pursuits. She takes good care of Bo, though, showering him with sisterly love ^^
